Life is seemingly all that much better to live when you have nothing to lose.
But consider this. Since all we don’t deserve anything we have and essentially nothing we have is ours, we don’t have anything to lose.
So why aren’t we being more courageous?

What gives someone sleepless nights might simply cause another to cringe for the two seconds of having that memory flash across his or her mind. Nobody has the right to condemn another’s struggles by comparing it to a relatively “greater” one.

Magnum photographer Paolo Pellegrin was given 15 minutes to photograph Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti for the cover of TIME International.
Pellegrin and his assistant worked quickly in the small chamber outside of Monti’s office at the Palazzo Chigi in Rome, capturing the world leader TIME has dubbed “The Most Important Man in Europe.”

We look inward and see ourselves through our warped visions, and more than anything… we look outward and evaluate ourselves from other people’s perspectives. How often do we look upward and see ourselves through His eyes? How much do we believe of the promise He made - of us...
