What makes it most difficult to step out of our shells seem to be the limited perspectives we have of ourselves. We look inward and see ourselves through our warped visions, and more than anything… we look outward and evaluate ourselves from other people’s perspectives. How often do we look upward and see ourselves through His eyes? How much do we believe of the promise He made - of us being fearfully and wonderfully made?

As much as people can love us and as much as we can love ourselves - nothing goes above and beyond a sort of divine love that comes from above. It is our limited visions that hinder us from realizing what we call ‘lofty’ ambitions - goals we label as ‘unattainable’ simply because we run on our shallow understandings of what we can do. I guess it’s not much of what we can do, but more of how much we can give up what we have and run on His power instead. We are meant to be greater.

I don’t trust enough. I don’t believe enough. I don’t understand enough to fully know and grasp the concept of how it really isn’t about me, but instead about a greater being that goes beyond my humanly comprehension. If anything, I learn about how weak I am as each day passes

hmm.
